Costa Rica's Nature Air Grounded by local Regulators

The Dirección General de Aviación Civil (DGAC) suspended the carrier's certificate on 11-Jan-2018, stating  “Nature Air S.A. does not currently have a solvent and effective management structure to guarantee the execution of air operations safely”

Nature Air operates both Cessna Grand Caravans, and Twin Otters from their base in San Jose. On 31-Dec-2017 twelve people were killed in a crash of a company Caravan.
