25-May-2004 The aircraft was destroyed when it apparently flew into high ground while en route between Kathmandu and Lukla. The point of impact was reportedly on the west side of the Lamjura Pass at the 11,600ft level. The accident happened in daylight (about 1400L). At the time there was said to be a 'heavy cloud build up' in the area of the pass.
