Additional Historical Information

  • During the period from Feb-1978 to May-1978 it appears the aircraft remained painted, and registered as N753AF whilst operating in Libya, this in spite of the registration having been cancelled 10-Feb-1978. A second cancellation of the registration N753AF occurred on 08-May-1978.

  • Aircraft was withdrawn from use and parked at Dinard, France mid-1990, where it remained until 1994. As the aircraft had no engines, and had been idle for four years, it was transported via container to Florida to be dismantled for parts.

  • Remains of aircraft were first noted at Valle, AZ in Oct-2002, having been acquired by Twin Otter International in Apr-2000
