Sustained minor damage when engine cowling door separated from aircraft and struck the propeller at San Diego, CA.


891 - DHC-6-400 FAP306 Fuerza Aerea del Peru

Damaged during runway excursion on landing at Iquitos, Peru. The aircraft was on a training flight at the time, and there were no serious injuries.



625 - DHC-6-300 8Q-TMV Trans Maldivian Airways, Male

Damaged on landing at the Hulhulé lagoon at Male International Airport.



489 - DHC-6-300 N708PV Skydive Perris, Perris, CA (PM Leasing Inc.)

874 - DHC-6-400 B-55571 Daily Air Corporation, Taipei

Veered off runway on landing in strong winds at Orchid Island, Taiwan. The aircraft sustained significant damage, however all injuries were minor.



15 - DHC-6-100 N122PM Skydive San Marcos, San Marcos, TX

Veered off runway on landing in strong winds at Fentress Airpark, TX, and subsequently collided with a tree. The aircraft was damaged beyond economical repair.

926 - DHC-6-400 9N-AHH Tara Air, Kathmandu

Crashed at Tirke Dhunga, Nepal while operating a scheduled service from Pokhara to Jomson. This is the first Series 400 total loss.


741 - DHC-6-300 PK-BRM PT Aviastar Mandiri, Jakarta

Collided with mountainside at an elevation of 7734 feet while en route from Masamba to Makassar, Indonesia. There were no survivors of the 10 onboard.


132 - DHC-6-300 DU-SD4 Skydive Dubai, Dubai

Damaged in a landing accident at the company facility in Dubai Marina.
